Understanding how to effectively support individuals throughout an organization via a structured approach to change management is key to reaching organizational success.
You'll work as part of a change management team comprised of multi-disciplinary problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include:
Provide onsite change management support at a healthcare facility
Evaluate and implement operational process improvement
Identify, plan for, and resolve complex client issues
Identify and manage project risks around scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Train, mentor, and lead junior-level staff, possibly on a remote basis, to enhance recruitment and retention efforts
Guide client conversations towards effective outcomes
POSITION REQUIRES UP TO 50-75% TRAVEL ACROSS THE UNITED STATES
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a clinical or healthcare industry discipline
Minimum of 1 year of change management and/or project management experience, preferably with a major healthcare organization or large-scale transformation project
At least 1 year health care information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Education, Healthcare Administration, related field or equivalent work experience
Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) - Association of Change Management Professionals
At least 1 year of change management work experience
At least 1 year Cerner Millennium Solution knowledge
At least 1 year additional higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
Ability to use data analytics to identify opportunities and solutions
Track record of engaging clients to drive sustainable cultural and organizational change
Successful experience in providing physician practice/hospital operations subject matter specialization in change management
Ability to manage client engagements and produce solutions
Understanding of primary care practice operations and public health strategies
Organizational and project management skills and the ability to work within a matrixed environment
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication (verbal and written)
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) to include basic grammar and format consistency for internal and client-facing deliverables and correspondence
Experience in researching and developing presentations and educational material to communicate mission, vision, and operational plans
Prosci or CCMP certification highly desired
Management consulting experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Building and maintaining networks of client relationships; engaging clients in meaning dialogue and driving collaboration
Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials
Understanding of quality metrics, clinical workflows, change management best practices, and process improvement techniques
Utilizing applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project to create deliverables for clients
Designing and developing data analysis and analytical tools to identify opportunities and build cases for change
Communicating value propositions and articulating overall impact of proposed actions
Developing strong rapport with clients including clinical and executive leadership
Utilizing interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of healthcare providers, executives, and other clients to build an atmosphere of trust and solicit active participation in initiatives
Answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff
