Guidehouse Infrastructure Lead - Managing Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts

Responsibilities

Designs, plans, and implements system and network architectures that are high performing, scalable, fault tolerant, secure, and compliant. Provide support and guidance for the Enterprise Infrastructure environment.

Responsible for supporting a federal program. Experience in Federal Financial Services Consulting preferred, although commercial financial management experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will be a team player in an Agile/Scrum structure. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks in a fast-paced, integrated, client-facing work environment. Will work with closely with contractors, federal staff, and Guidehouse team members. Strong interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills required.

  • Solution design for Enterprise services managed services, IT infrastructure architecting, messaging, enterprise application sizing and designing infrastructure for applications like Core banking, Delivery channels, Payment Systems etc.

  • IT Infra architecting for Tier-I / II / III applications

  • DC-DR solutioning from Infrastructure Point of View

  • Manage and orchestrate diverse teams of experts – internal and vendors

  • Bring in the best practices for – cloud, virtualization, WAN optimization etc. while optimizing the TCO

  • Ensure the implementation of security policies at infrastructure level

  • Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire

Qualifications

  • Windows Operating Systems: advanced skills from Windows Server 2000 to Windows Server 2019; Windows 7, and Windows 10

  • Cloud Providers: Azure and AWS

  • VMware: VMware vSphere 4/5/6/7 (DRS, HA, VMotion, and Update Manager); vCenter Operations Manager; VMware Horizon View 5.x, 6.x and 7.x; Workspace One (Airwatch), Migrations (P2V, V2V)and ESXi upgrades

  • Backup Application: Veeam Backup & Replication

  • Security: Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP)

  • Server Hardware: IBM Blade (HS23s), H.P ProLiant Gen 7,8,9 &10, and Dell R740

  • Storage (SAN): IBM DS5100 and V7000, Nimble and PureStorage

    Salary range $110.000 - $160.000 based on experienece
