Keurig Dr Pepper IT PMO Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Overview

The IT PMO Manager will report into the Sr. Director, IT PMO & Agile Transformation and will serve as a key member of the Agile Project Management Office with a specific focus on Agile Process & Tools Governance & Excellence for our IT organization. The role is responsible for developing and enhancing PMO standards and driving a continuous improvement mindset as we evolve to an Agile PMO as well as for managing the overall support and administration of KDP PMO tooling. KDP PMO tooling includes the Atlassian portfolio (Jira and Confluence) and Planview. A key focus will be to support our KDP Agile Transformation and be responsible for managing tooling governance and standards which align with our agile reporting standards. This role will partner and engage with a wide variety of IT stakeholders to develop & enhance our standard processes as well as support new features and functionally, enhance application capabilities, and lead end-to-end support with our 3rd party partners.


  • Work with PMO leadership and Portfolio Management teams to identify areas of improvement. Create approaches to implement and drive standards across organization.

  • Partner closely across Agile PMO, IT Finance and Transformation teams to ensure integrated processes are streamlined and produce outcomes required

  • Collaborate with training and change management teams to drive adoption of processes and ensure onboarding of new resources produces consistent outcomes (focus with project managers and scrum masters)

  • Provide management over the service provider related to configuration and administrative support for the Atlassian portfolio and Planview, including software and licenses updates

  • Accountable for design, implementation and maintenance of templates to serve as standards for Agile teams across KDP

  • Collaborate to build tooling best practices, drive adoption and refinement, including partnering with training team to create materials focusing on user adoption and usage

  • Manage and prioritize a backlog of tooling enhancements needed for KDP, including coordination and responses to support requests

  • Build custom dashboards, and reports for the IT organization based on direction from the Agile PMO and Transformation team

  • Actively develop and improve skill set by keeping aware of industry trends, tools, and techniques across Atlassian & Planview Tools as well as other leading Agility & PMO tools


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Preferred 4+ years of IT experience with agile delivery

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in tooling admin and governance for Jira, Confluence, and Planview

  • Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes

  • Experience in effective change management techniques for process & tooling implementation

  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders

  • Ability to translate complicated tooling (milestones, risks, desired outcomes, decision options, etc.) into concise observations and recommendations

  • Possesses strong strategic orientation, analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and evaluate broad impacts of work

  • Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances

  • Comfortable working and leading by example in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment

  • Must be well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments

  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%
