Position Title:IT Project Coordinator

Responsibilities:The IT Project Coordinator will report to the Director of Project Management and Implementation and will assist driving the adoption of project management methodology and best practices throughout the Information Systems Department.
Specifically, the IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
Working with stakeholders to define project needs and translate them into project requirements
Developing or reviewing business and systems requirements and system flows. Recommend appropriate designs to meet those requirements.
Researching technical solutions that may fit the needs of the IT department and presenting well researched options and recommendations.
Working with team members to test IT solutions and prove feasibility before implementing a solution.
Following the project management framework to implement IT solutions.
Leading project planning meetings and activities under the direction of a Project Manager.
Prepare and maintain all the project related documents, such as requirements, plans, schedules, project issues, and risks logs.
Remain continuously aware of business issues and provide direction to aid in the development of creative solutions.
Measure and monitor goal progress on a daily basis and provide status reports to communicate to all stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to Bay Cove Staff, Vendors, and External Partners.
Qualifications:Requirements for the position:
2+ years’ experience leading and coordinating projects for IT support and/or enhancements.
Experience working directly with customers outside IT on project scoping, status updates, and delivery.
Experience researching, assessing, and communicating with hardware, software, and service providers.
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Project Management experience managing a large project with both technical and business users on the project team.
Experience using project management tools (such as Microsoft Project or Jira) is a plus.
Ability to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and creatively solve complex problems.
Strong presentation skills required. Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all project stakeholders is crucial.
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and set and meet deadlines. Ability to effectively handle various duties simultaneously and work under pressure.
Strong collaboration skills with staff, vendors, partners and consultants. Maintain effective communication between information systems personnel and the users of information services and systems.
Ability to provide a central point of contact for users to address questions, report problems, and submit requests related to Information Technology.
Ability to create and maintain a good rapport with end-users, colleagues, and vendors.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
