Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The IT Project Manager II is required to lead multiple projects through all lifecycle phases in support of IT. They are responsible to deliver projects on time and within budget and scope.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages large multimillion-dollar projects that have significant business implications

  • Schedules and attend cross functional project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, sending out relevant updates, etc.

  • Coordinates internal resources and third-party vendors for execution of projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills and influencing abilities. Comfortable leading regional and remote teams

  • Manages ambiguity

  • Utilizes the project management tool set and process

  • Adapts to new technology solutions utilized by clients

  • Ability to identify and remove project roadblocks, resolve issues and mitigate risks

  • Delivers high quality project plans, status updates and reports in conjunction with the technical project leaders

  • Acts with a collaborative approach to the business with the ability to adapt to new technology solutions utilized by clients

Licensing/ Certification

Certified Associate in Project Management – Project Management Institute (required)

Project Management Professional – Project Management Institute (preferred)


Associate's Degree (required)

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Work Experience

3-7 years’ experience in Project Coordination/Project Management (preferred)

Working Conditions

Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.

General office environment.

May have periods of constant interruptions.

Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.

Prolonged periods of working alone.

Other: Long-distance or air travel as needed - expected up to 25%
