Job Description & Summary

A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. Youll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Operations Support team monitors the overall quality of our service. As a part of the team, youll be the primary contact for ensuring the quality of our services is maintained while also considering better ways to provide the same service in a more cost efficient manner and keeping customer satisfaction with our services high.

This position will be part of PwC IT Services (US) LLC, a member of the PwC network of firms. 8 year(s) of relevant experience in progressive roles leading IT operations quality control, process improvement, and compliance.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader emphasizing the following areas:

  • Managing relationships and activities required for planning and implementation of Disaster Recovery (DR) function;

  • Developing and implementing a functional DR program which includes developing and maintaining DR policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines;

  • Coordinating with the Business Continuity function and participating in appropriate business unit and development planning meetings and activities;

  • Facilitating timely identification, escalation, resolution, and follow-up for all outstanding issues including those identified from testing or actual incidents;

  • Leading efforts improving, enhancing, formalizing, and standardizing DR processes, including tracking and reporting of DR measures and KPIs;

  • Assuming a leadership role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining comprehensive data center recovery plans and testing program, to establish the ability to recover in the event of an unforeseen disruption to technology services, facilities, systems, or applications;

  • Performing periodic reviews of existing Disaster Recovery Plans and report to management on any improvements that need to be made;

  • Directing the vendor management of service providers who help with sustaining and improving the organization's disaster recovery capabilities;

  • Coordinating response and recovery activities and status communications in the event of a major incident;

  • Serving as lead in internal and external DR audit requests;

  • Possessing Cloud DR planning and testing experience;

  • Identifying the critical processes and systems (including 3rd party services) that are core to the firm's continued business operations;

  • Planning and executing disaster recovery testing to establish the security and integrity of critical business processes; and,

  • Providing and executing a methodology to oversee compliance with corporate IT DR and Business Continuity standards across the network.
