Professional will focus on Travel, Transportation, Hospitality and Enterprise Industries.Job Description:The Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for helping to drive deep technology conversations with customers. This person will help customers and prospects assess their current technical state, both from a Salesforce and from an overall perspective. This person will assist in creating a technical roadmap that will ensure a company has the technical infrastructure in place to help solve customer business problems. This person will have a specific domain focus in areas such as security, integration, and application development. The candidate will help drive some of Salesforce's largest, most strategic opportunities by segment or industry verticals and will help ensure the technical win in top accounts. The Technical Architect will work closely and strategize with executives such as Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Security Officers, and Vice Presidents of Application Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of all Salesforce product offerings

  • Actively engage and lead strategic sales engagements with regards to both technical and business value to build winning, differentiated solutions and value.

  • Lead technical presentations at Salesforce and external conferences such as Dreamforce, World Tours, TrailheaDX, AWS reInvent, Gartner Symposium, etc.

  • Active participation in opportunity & account strategy sessions to ensure their technical domain expertise is helping to solve real customer challenges.

  • Align with Product Management and the Technology & Product groups

  • Active contributor to the internal Technical Architect community by participating in calls, publishing reference architectures and creating decks and other reusable assets for technical topics.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership by publishing blogs, white papers and reference architectures.

  • Ability to build exceptional relationships

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and recognize opportunities for new and emerging technologies

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and clearly articulate trade-offs for alternative approaches

  • Architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with customer business objectives

  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership and deep domain knowledge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, business administration or a similar field

  • 10+ years of successful IT experience

  • Salesforce certification preferred

  • Strong technology leadership skills required

  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills

  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution

  • Experience in application development

  • Strong understanding of architectural design patterns include SOA, Micro-Services, object-oriented design patterns, common integration patterns, etc.

  • Excellent customer-facing written and oral communications skills

  • Development experience (Java or C#, JavaScript, python, Ruby, HTML5, etc.)

  • Business process modeling

  • Database fundamentals

For Colorado based roles: Minimum annual salary of $110,740. You may also be entitled to receive $47,460, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
