Job Description:

CDM Smith's Environmental & Technologies Group is seeking a management consultant with extensive public utility experience to become part of a dynamic expanding group with a focus on asset management, technology planning, maintenance strategy and finance. The candidate should demonstrate varied experience developing, implementing and managing client engagements across that portfolio and working with a broad range of clients in diverse geography.

Position will have a broad set of responsibilities including:

• Developing client relationships starting at initial identification and outreach

• Participating in and managing responses to client requests for proposals including technical scope development, pricing, and interviews and other elements of the client’s selection process

• Participating in and directing client engagements, including but not limited to: providing subject matter expertise, as appropriate; managing relevant tasks within larger assignments; and managing smaller projects.

• Strong knowledge of public utility practices in management, finance, operations, and maintenance. Demonstrated staff and client management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Domestic and international travel may be required, typically up to 40 percent which will vary depending on workload and project requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

7 years of related experience.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of ten years’ experience in utility and consulting entities with progressive technical and management responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related field. Master’s degree in such fields preferred.

Background Check and Drug Testing Information:
