CDM Smith Manager, Business Analysis in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

Business Analysis

•Reviews proposed projects, creates roadmap priorities and assigns the appropriate technology business analysis staff. Oversees and may manage the requirements gathering process, methodology selection, and documentation. Assists in budget and priority reviews with stakeholders and technology management.

Project Management

•Oversees the planning, deployment and implementation of processes and tools to track and report project milestones. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary. Monitors and tracks the completion of analysis for proposed and approved technology projects and initiatives.

Staff Management

•Manages staff, evaluates performance, mentors and plans career paths, approves paid time off (PTO) and training, ensures human resources (HR) policies are followed and makes recommendation regarding staffing decisions.

Process Improvement

•Identifies and recommends improvements to the business analysis process. Implements approved changes and monitors to ensure results.

•Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience: 10 years of business systems planning, project analysis and assessment, and stakeholder engagement experience with 2 years of management or supervisory experience

Skills:

•Expert interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision‐making skills.

•Strong ability to rapidly understand the functions and capabilities of new information systems trends.

•Strong problem-solving skills.

•Expert knowledge of information technology tools and trends.

•Expert knowledge of enterprise information systems implementation.

•Solid people management and leadership skills.

Travel: Domestic and international travel is required.
