KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in CIO Advisory for ourpractice.


  • Lead business development, client pursuits, and service proposals for cloud and hybrid technology resiliency and identify and structure key issues and plan research and analysis activities that generate insight to drive IT resiliency strategy and performance improvement

  • Manage development of enhancements to the data center disaster recovery and computing transformation methodologies and contribute thought leadership content and lead clients' data center disaster recovery current state assessments, evaluate rationalization opportunities, sourcing options (including cloud) and economic models, and recommend strategic direction

  • Lead architectural design of DRaaS for client hosted services and lead architectural design and implementation for Cloud based application resiliency utilizing Cloud Service Provider's (Azure or AWS) available service offerings

  • Direct implementation and migration to new disaster recovery data centers and IT infrastructure services including internal solutions and external services (including cloud)

  • Lead risk analyses of IT infrastructure domains to identify points of vulnerability and recommend risk reduction strategies and solutions (including cloud)

  • Primary liaison with client stakeholders and subject matter professionals including business continuity, risk management, data center engineers, architects, and managers and manage engagement staffing, financials, quality and risk


  • A minimum of five years of IT infrastructure operations, engineering and/or architecture, with at least two years developing and testing disaster recovery or IT business continuity plan and a minimum of two years of data center technology management, strategy and transformation management

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred and past or current certifications (e.g., business continuity certification, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Azure, AWS)

  • Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business, and build lasting professional relationships with senior level IT executives

  • Experience with cloud services (DRaaS, PaaS, and IaaS) evaluation and implementation

  • Technology experience, including server, storage, virtualization, high availability architecture, and data center computing transformation from strategy to design and implementation and experience in infrastructure automation and instrumentation, unified communications, collaboration, database / application server architecture, network, and information security is preferred

  • Strong leadership, business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills

  • Travel may be up to eighty to one hundred percent
