Create awareness and targeted demand of Advanced Process Solutions’ products and services across the Fidelity enterprise by creating highly compelling, clear content and communications to articulate value as well as support transparency and engagement with our own associates.

Advanced Process Solutions (APS) is a division of Fidelity made up of a specialized team of business process experts, service professionals, and technologists dedicated to helping/enabling Fidelity to deliver the best digital customer experience in the financial industry. This role will articulate, manage and publish the “voice” of APS through various communication channels including an intranet site, eNewsletter, associate meeting content, and Fidelity business group presentation materials. The Manager, Communications & Content Management will be a team member of the APS Marketing & Communications group and will work closely with that core team to ensure consistent and engaging messaging. This role will have direct contact with subject matter experts and leaders within APS and across Fidelity (e.g. business and technology partners) to understand key features and benefits to effectively articulate value to the intended audiences. The manager will gather and synthesize information, translate the information to directly address the interests of the intended audience and prepares articles, presentations and reports.

  • The Expertise You Have *

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent

  • 3-5 years in a communication, marketing, business writing and/or publication role

  • Visual design/layout experience or skills – collateral, websites, newsletters

  • Microsoft Office suite proficient (PowerPoint & Word)

  • HTML programming experience/skills a plus (though could be learned on the job)

  • Excellent – like/really/excellent - writing skills (most important skill!)

  • Extremely strong verbal communication skills; ability to “draw-out” the important nuggets of information from subject matter experts

  • Fantastic storyteller

  • Deadline oriented; works well under pressure and with multiple simultaneous priorities

  • Ability to translate complex and sometimes technical information into simple and easy to understand (“plain English”) content

  • Comfortable in a corporate environment; understands how to appropriately navigate an organization to get needed information; sensitive to cultural nuances

  • Own the content and delivery of:

  • News articles on the Fidelity all-employees’ intranet site (related to APS)

  • All content including news articles on APS website

  • APS monthly newsletter

  • PowerPoint slides for the APS all-hands meetings

  • PowerPoint slides for BU presentations

  • White papers (draft content to come from subject matter experts)

  • Organizational announcements

  • Marketing campaign content (in partnership with/support of the Marketing Manager) – road show presentations, digital signage

  • Be the bridge (translator) between technical and business information (from subject matter experts and senior leaders) and simple, easy impactful delivery of key messages to the target audience

  • Get to the “gist” of information for impactful storytelling

  • Provide content in highly usable and visually appealing ways
