Facebook Manager, Compliance in Boston, Massachusetts

Summary:

Facebook is seeking a Manager for the IT SOX Controls team that is focused on maintaining compliance with internal controls within Facebook’s systems. This person will support the existing team of Controls professionals who are tasked with managing IT operational audits and SOX readiness across the Enterprise Products (EP) organization. This role is responsible for managing this team and hiring new team members as well as setting the strategy, direction and coordination with cross-functional partners for a team with a mission to ensure SOX compliance throughout the organization. You’ll work incredibly closely with Facebook Engineering and Finance leadership to establish priorities, build product roadmaps in a compliant manager and communicate regular updates on what’s happening with the team and space. You will be responsible for ensuring solid partnerships, steady growth and measurable impact. This is a full-time position.

IT SOX Controls is a priority focus for Facebook’s Enterprise Products organization as we scale and support a growing product catalogue. The Manager will have the opportunity to partner with product leaders to enable our organization’s growth.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage a high-performing team to ensure compliance with the IT SOX program across Enterprise Products, from planning to execution

  2. Manage the compliance roadmap and deployment of your team of Controls professions to support the product delivery roadmap

  3. Manage Operational Audits and Risk Assessments led by Internal Audit using a risk-based approach to address high risk areas for Facebook

  4. Partner with Enterprise Products Engineering and Product Managers to support system implementations, enhancements and upgrades are part of SDLC process, including control design and operating effectiveness

  5. Partner with Enterprise Products Leadership and other cross-functional leadership (e.g., Internal Audit) to establish priorities, strategy, and communicate regular updates on compliance initiatives

  6. Promote thought leadership for continuous improvement and the use of data analytics-based audit monitoring and testing

  7. Hire and develop new Controls team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12 or more years of experience in IT Audit Advisory or SOX Compliance Program Management

  2. 8 or more years of experience managing teams

  3. Experience hiring and structuring teams

  4. Demonstrated experience prioritizing and executing multiple strategic initiatives

  5. Experience managing proprietary build systems, information security, corporate systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce, Workday) and working with internet scale data reporting analysis

  6. Experience with project management practices, tooling and managing audit projects through their entire lifecycle

  7. Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL) to draft queries and perform data analysis

  8. Experience partnering with Engineering leadership to establish priorities, strategy, and communicate regular updates on compliance initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

  2. CISA, CISSP, CIA or a related professional certification
