Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Financial Services Solutions for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients in the development and implementation of Security Based Swap Dealer (SBSD) compliance program, including facilitating SBSD registration in a timely manner to client's lines of business as relates to regulation, risk management and policies and procedures

  • Review policies and procedures, processes, and systems to preform gap analysis to ensure the client continues to follow regulatory standards and industry best practices

  • Provide results-driven regulatory compliance solution to the client in developing and executing the implementation plan while developing and maintaining status reports for review by internal and external senior management to meet project milestones

  • Lead KPMG teams through daily execution of activities, deliverables, project plans, and client presentations in addition to leading business development efforts for primary target clients

  • Support proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals

  • Serve as a leader in recruiting and retention efforts to grow and develop the practice

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in regulatory compliance, business process, process delivery within an advisory firm or industry positions

  • Bachelor's degree within a relevant field from an accredited college or university

  • In depth experiences in writing and implementing policies and procedures, as well as remediating existing ones; ability to analyze and interpret regulatory requirements into policy and procedure

  • Strong overall product knowledge and regulatory experience within the OTC derivatives and swap dealer businesses

  • Advanced knowledge of Financial Services industry, preferably Capital Markets Broker Dealer or Asset Management/Alternatives sectors

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations along with the ability to manage processes and key external stakeholders

  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
