KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Financial Services Solutions for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.
Accountable for providing invaluable insight and architectural guidance to customers and engagement teams as they plan and build out new digital products in a client-facing technical role
Define target state and transition architectures and roadmaps
Work directly with clients and collaborate with internal teams to serve as the technical architect on digital transformation initiatives
Define end-to-end systems architecture and design in accordance with business and operational requirements
Develop component, service and interface definitions, and help define system implementation approaches and operational procedures
A minimum of eight years of experience with conceptualizing, architecting, designing and communicating enterprise class solutions
Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, or science from an accredited college/university or equivalent practical experience in management, technical or engineering field
Ability to consult with clients at any level from the C-Suite to the developer and work in a fast-paced startup environment with a demonstrated ability and eagerness to learn new technical skills quickly and experience working with Agile methodologies
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal along with strong stakeholder management skills
Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and APIs (REST, SOAP) and other integration patterns; strong understanding of architectural patterns, guard rails and design best practices
