Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in CIO Advisory for our Consulting ( practice.


  • Design, build, and lead strategy of resilient hybrid multi-cloud environments

  • Lead design and deployment of site reliability and disaster recovery engineering using infrastructure-as-code, automation, and orchestration

  • Evaluate clients' technology estate (application, infrastructure, network)爎ationalization opportunities, sourcing options, economic models, risk posture, and recommend strategic direction

  • Assess and implement IT Service Continuity Management solutions aligned with leading Business Continuity

  • Manage engagement staffing, financials, quality and risk; support building client relationships via high quality engagement delivery; coordinate client pursuits and proposal development; and contribute to thought leadership content


  • Minimum six years' experience with hybrid multi-cloud environments including hybrid multi-cloud management, disaster recovery planning and execution, and operating model changes using automation and orchestration technologies

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering from an accredited college/university; Master of Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration (MBA) preferred

  • Prior knowledge developing technology resiliency requirements and designing corresponding technology solutions for on-prem and cloud environments; ability to develop enterprise disaster recovery Plans and conduct DR testing for on-prem and cloud environments

  • Solid understanding of engineering and operating resilient modern application/data/infrastructure architectures; ability to assess and implement IT Service Continuity Management solutions

  • Knowledge of business continuity, risk and major incident management frameworks and certification in one or more technical competencies (AWS, GCP, Azure, VMware, Networking, DR, Solution Architecture, and Security) is preferred

  • Strong leadership, business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
