Manulife Manager, Leadership Development Programs in Boston, Massachusetts

The Manager, Leadership Development offers an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance our global leadership development and talent programs, directly contributing to our mission of fostering exceptional talent and driving organizational success. By providing program management expertise and supporting the execution of comprehensive talent solutions, you will ensure these programs are aligned with Manulife's business needs and learner requirements. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, analyze program data for continuous improvement, and employ innovative approaches to deliver engaging content. Ultimately, you will make a significant impact by addressing challenges proactively and facilitating necessary changes to support the growth and development of our leaders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide program operations expertise and support for the design, development and implementation of talent solutions and related programs and projects.

  • Support leadership development and talent program execution including vendor selection, program design, program logistics, participant and leader communications, program evaluations, post-program learning sustainment activities.

  • Prepare and manage key actions associated with the leadership and talent programs and ensure accountabilities and priorities are executed in collaboration with the program leads.

  • Design best practices and program operations templates and tools to scale.

  • Support and contribute to the creation of learning solutions that are aligned with business needs and learner requirements. Employ innovative approaches and technologies to deliver relevant and engaging content.

  • Analyze program data to identify areas of improvement and facilitate necessary changes to on-going programs and initiatives.

  • Contribute to the development and facilitation of pilot programs and provide feedback to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain and strengthen internal and external partnerships to meet business requirements and expectations.

  • Measure and support the communication (including change management) of on-going effectiveness of leadership development and talent programs and initiatives to key stakeholders within and outside of HR.

  • Partner with program leads on key initiatives and assist in regularly evaluating learning programs using data-driven insights to recommend continuous improvements and ensure relevance and effectiveness.

  • Proactively address challenges and risks with a balanced approach, considering the impact on key stakeholders including learners, partners, and team leaders

  • Research and identify and assess market best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment.

  • Proven project management, relationship and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.

  • Experience in learning & leadership program instructional design, project/program management.

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of increasing responsibility in the field of learning & leadership development, consulting.

  • Exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in rapidly growing, fast-changing, highly collaborative partnering environments.

  • Self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative, strong work ethic and the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as experience in presenting and interacting with senior leadership.

Salary range is expected to be between

$84,375.00 CAD - $151,875.00 CAD
