Meta Manager, Privacy Tooling and Automation in Boston, Massachusetts


The mission for the PTAA team is to provide an integrated set of tools and automation to help mature the Privacy program and deliver automated data insights to enable Risk mitigation, Privacy program precision and Operational excellence. We deliver to an agile product roadmap to maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment leading the ideation, technical development, launch and support of innovative products that integrate to support the Privacy program in collaboration with operational and engineering teams.The core competencies are in architecting and delivering internal technology products that help automate, connect and measure the program goals effectively.We're looking for a seasoned manager with experience leading impactful initiatives and a track record of strong partnership with cross functional leadership. This manager should bring excellent strategic thinking, a passion for people management, and demonstrated ability to build and develop leaders on their team and scale teams to the opportunities ahead. A successful candidate will be able to use these skills along with impeccable judgment to juggle multiple priorities and make impact in this critical area of our business.This role is a full-time position.

Required Skills:

Manager, Privacy Tooling and Automation Responsibilities:

  1. Establish a shared vision across the teams by building consensus on priorities leading to successful automation in support of a mature Privacy program.

  2. Build strategic relationships with global and cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate risks to the company, and develop global solutions for monitoring risk and compliance and responding to regulations and audits.

  3. Manage and grow a team of Privacy program managers, while also expanding existing automation opportunities.

  4. Deliver strong and visionary leadership to your team, enhance and develop a strong team culture and commitment to impact.

  5. Navigate complex system integrations and build a connective tissue across the Privacy tooling landscape.

  6. Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers.

  7. Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.

  8. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of individual products and the product area.

  9. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Self-starting, intellectually curious, and creative individual with experience operating in ambiguity.

  2. Experience leading and engaging in risk and compliance discussions with Privacy program partners, as well as bridging it to technology solutions.

  3. Demonstrated experience influencing the systems landscape.

  4. 10+ years of work experience in role involving strategy, problem solving, or technical systems.

  5. Communication and presentation skills.

  6. Experience in hiring and growing teams of Privacy program managers.

  7. 5+ years of people management experience.

  8. Analytical and strategic thinker with experience solving problems using data to help drive operational excellence and program precision.
