Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook's success. We have a world-class team working together to scale to the next level. We are looking for a Manager for Recruiting Strategic Programs & Operations to work at the intersection of strategy and operations. The person in this role will provide strategic and some operations support for the 3 core functions within the organization – Candidate Experience, Candidate Channels and Early Talent Recruiting. This role will be a part of the larger Scaled Programs and Experiences (SPE) operations team. We are seeking a collaborative and caring leader and storyteller with the ability to see the big picture enable us to track and showcase our progress. Key to this role is the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, understand their strategy and then leverage PM and analytical skills to report progress across multiple initiatives.
Lead the Strategic Programs team for Scaled Programs and Experiences
Mentor, guide and help with career development for the team
Quickly connect Engineering Roadmaps and Strategic initiatives to be able to determine progress to our vision
Develop culture of data driven decision making and ensure that critical business issues are being addressed in timely manner
Create a culture of continuous improvement and optimization of processes and experience
Leverage quantitative and qualitative methodologies to make decisions and recommendations on critical strategic issues
Lead by example through following, setting or sharing program management best practices
8+ years of strategic planning, operations, or management consulting experience
4+ years’ experience managing, coaching and developing a team
3+ years of project management experience across multiple work-streams and functions
Experience translating business challenges and questions into solutions
Experience with strategic operations, consulting, and designing data-driven recruiting program strategies
Experience engaging directly with executive-level clients and stakeholders
Experience working in recruiting management role or recruiting organization
Experience designing processes and experiences in an organization where scaling for growth has been a feature
Experience with technical recruiting and/or leading technical recruiting or programs/operations teams
Experience managing teams of 4+ direct reports
Experience managing program managers
