KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Risk Management-Technology to join our Risk Management organization supporting our Advisory professionals.
Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, evaluation and mitigation of technology-related risks during the firm’s technology review process by working productively with various review teams (e.g. Security, Privacy, Legal), business leadership, project managers and project team members to help efficiently and effectively complete reviews
Facilitate the approval of technology requests based on the result of risk assessments and judgement-based decision making
Conduct periodic compliance activities to help ensure the firm’s use of technology is in accordance with firm requirements
Manage the development and implementation of new technology governance and review methodologies and protocols as new services or initiatives are implemented by the firm
Collaborate, design, develop, evaluate, and recommend various risk management guidelines and policies, while suggesting changes and coordinating implementation, as needed
Contribute to the continued improvement of Risk Management processes, materials, and tools
Lead and/or participate in various Risk Management projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of related work experience in project management, risk management, IT security management, software development, IT operations, and/or technology-related consulting
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Progressive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels; Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Hands-on, independent and accountable management style; capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
Ability to travel as necessary
