Ankura’s Data & Technology Practice includes client services in the areas of Analytics & Data Strategy, eDiscovery & Cyber Security. Our Data & Technology team helps our customers design, execute and test cutting edge solutions in each of our respective areas.
The Managing Director, Operations works directly with the Data & Technology senior leadership team to provide solutions and collaboration regarding practice technology initiatives. This high-profile position is responsible for leading operational support of Ankura’s data and technology engagements and internal solutions. Duties include oversight and guidance to the teams that are responsible for keeping systems and services up and running, monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing system performance, including making recommendations for improving performance. The primary technology in focus is Relativity. This leader must be able to understand Relativity’s architecture and be able to be an operational SME.
Responsible for driving the technology operations process for the Data & Technology practice
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while handling multiple tasks through completion
Ability to manage a team that is responsible for assignments and assume responsibility for all hosting issues and requests as they are received (open ticket, assign priority level, resolve or escalate) according to service level agreement for clients
Provide internal support for client-facing staff on Hosting issues and provide assistance or guidance with case setup
Provide Subject Matter Expertise for all practice technologies and systems
The ability to partner with practice leadership to drive revenue and present cutting-edge solutions to clients
Responsible for innovating and enhancing our current technological capabilities
Designing products and services that will drive new revenue opportunities
Creating new services that will help drive new business
Optimization of current technologies and operational services provided to clients
B.S. or a B.A. degree in technology-related curriculum or commensurate technical work experience.
3+ years of experience of Relativity support (Relativity RCA preferred but not required)
10+ years of experience in a technical field
Experience driving new technology solutions that result in more business opportunities
Proficiency in problem recognition and solving skills possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and the initiative to learn more advanced technical and design concepts
