Fortive Corporation Marketing Operations Administrator in Boston, Massachusetts

TITLE: Marketing Operations Administrator

LOCATION: Remote (or Greenville, SC)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, the Marketing Operations Administrator blends business insight with technical savvy to serve as a marketing technology resource by leveraging data, systems, and processes to ensure optimal program execution and measurement. This data-driven individual will oversee the martech infrastructure back-end processes to support the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, systems integrations/syncs and data quality. They will also partner with marketing, sales and technology stakeholders internally to understand current needs and provide solutions. This is a technical role working with the marketing technology stack (primarily Marketo). Key to this role is the optimization and execution of a marketing automation strategy that aligns with company objectives to help achieve performance targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead system administration for the company’s instance of Marketo and provide overall programming and technical support, as well as training and documentation for users.

  • Establish clear, repeatable, and scalable operating processes that ensure campaigns adhere to operational and reporting standards enabling the team to function efficiently and effectively.

  • Drive collaboration and communicate effectively across the Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams to drive alignment, identify areas for improvement then apply automation technology and best practices to solve them and share progress.

  • Improve Marketing data quality (including standardization, appending, segmentation, deduplication) through systematic database cleansing, leveraging data collection best practices and vendor engagements.

  • Update and Maintain Lead Routing and Lead Management Processes using Marketo and Salesforce.

  • Perform day-to-day system maintenance and configuration including integrations and syncs with salesforce.com and various other tools and systems in our marketing ecosystem.

  • Support the Director of Marketing Operations on the management of the Marketing operations roadmap by helping to ensure we are maximizing the value of our existing technology and procuring the next generation of Marketing Technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in marketing operations role leveraging Marketo and active Marketo certification

  • Strong understanding of how Marketing Automation systems work and integrate with Salesforce and other MarTech tools and systems like Ringlead, Zoominfo, etc.

  • Deep understanding of, and experience with, modern marketing models including lead scoring, lead lifecycle, account-based marketing, automated campaign frameworks, etc.

  • Expert at using analytics and data to make impactful marketing decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and impact results
