We are looking for a Sales Engineer that will support the myTrailhead Account Executives, AVP, and the broader Salesforce organization. The SE is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in company’s technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the SE must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a go-to technical resource to support the global team of myTrailhead Account Executives

  • Assist with new customer acquisition and educate existing customer on the latest product offerings as the product evolves

  • Support global Core SEs on demo environment setup and best practices

  • Build and advise on demos leveraging all salesforce products, providing an end to end employee learning experience journey (ex. myTrailhead + Marketing Cloud/Pardot + Einstein + Community, etc)

  • Respond to RFPs and be able to address security architecture and compliance questions

  • Work with customers, CSMs and sales teams to ensure customer readiness for myTrailhead including provisioning requirements, setup best practices, and pre to post sale transitions (ex. myDomain, namespaces, SSO, etc)

  • Act as the liaison to the product and engineering team for security reviews and roadmap updates

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience manipulating Salesforce objects and extending force.com

  • Experience manipulating core data via rest api

  • Experience navigating businesses of all sizes in the sales cycle

  • Startup and Enterprise experience a plus

  • Salesforce Administration Certification a plus

  • LMS or experience in the learning space a plus

  • Partner sales/ community interactions a plus
