IBM Offering Manager, Cloud Solutions in Boston, Massachusetts

Your Role and Responsibilities

We're looking for leaders with passion for technology solutions that want to turn ideas into reality, with a focus on development and integration of new cloud technology. You will use your keen insights into what customers want - and oversee offering roadmap and scale. You’ll have a track record of managing and overseeing management of offerings and development / execution of offering business plans in a fast-paced environment to support a rapid growth of the technology solutions business.

● Work with multiple teams and communicate with individuals with differing levels of technical understanding and functional knowledge as they pertain to your offering(s)

● Create big picture views and evolve concepts into designs, hills, epics, and user stories for development teams to consume

What You'll Do...

As a Cloud Solutions Offering Manager, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams not limited to business Leadership, Development, Finance, Legal, Privacy, Security, Yield as well as vendors to focus on the next generation of Cloud solutions. Employing creative thinking and collaboration as the foundation of your daily approach, responsibilities will include...

● Development of end to end offering business plans aligned to Cloud Solutions Product strategy, informed by in-market offering performance

● Collaboration with Offering Management team to Influence portfolio of Cloud offerings in market

● Support sales leaders and client teams with offering assets in deal opportunities

● Develop and manage offering enablement strategy and plan

● Develop new Cloud product concepts

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of Client facing solutioning role

  • 5 years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams to thrive in ambiguity in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong customer centricity; demonstrated ability to meet with customers, understand their business goals and challenges; map solutions in furtherance of those goals and in relief of the challenges

  • Solid experience in solution management, development management / Application consulting

  • Good understanding of the core business functions, especially complex b2b sales and solutions

  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills

  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels
