The Operational Risk Manager will support the US wide Operational Risk Management function reporting to the Director of Operational Risk. The primary focus of this position is to drive the deployment of both methodology and GRC Platform (Heracles) to mature the RCSA program and integration with other key ORM program elements (Key Risk Indicators, Issue Management, Loss Event, and Scenario Analysis). This is a key role, as the deployment of the program and system are a top priority for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Training & Communication Strategy with Parent Company and all US entities – Ensure all key stakeholders are properly informed of methodology/system updates.

  • Administer processes and maintain Heracles – Manage local entity administration and IT administration teams to ensure availability and accessibility to Heracles.

  • Design integration strategies associated with Risk and Control assessment programs across various disciplines (Information Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, Compliance Risk Assessment, etc.).

  • Manage data and information, creating routine or ad hoc reporting, managing data quality and archival, supporting business lines and risk partners, and conducting analysis of data. This function will support all US entities within SHUSA.

  • Support local entity 2nd LOD’s and businesses deploy the program requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Equivalent work experience.

  • CIA, CISA, CISSP, CPA, CFE, PMP.

  • Experience operating in a global environment – ability to communicate well with Parent organization and multiple key stakeholders within SHUSA and all US entities.

  • Experience developing, implementing, analyzing Risk Management frameworks, principles and programs (i.e. RCSA, Internal Control, Issue Management, Risk indicators, Scenario Analysis, Loss Event, etc.)

  • Experience working in a risk management, Information Technology/Security, Finance, Compliance, functions within Financial Services Industry.

  • Administering a GRC platform and/or other similar risk system. Experience with SAP preferred.

  • Developing reporting using excel, access, various BI tools to align with management and regulatory, requirements within the underlying data architecture and processes.

  • Project / Program Management and Microsoft Project is a plus.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
