Boston Properties Oracle HCM Cloud Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts

Primary Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for the support, maintenance and configuration of the Oracle Human Capital Management application for the Company and serves as the system administrator.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain and support Oracle HCM Cloud and serve as the technical point-of-contact for members of the HR department, other business units and employees.

  • Manage the Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, and Recruiting Cloud modules of Oracle HCM Cloud, and serve as technical subject matter expert for additional module implementations and enhancement projects.

  • Conduct break-fix analysis, and manage overall system enhancements and testing with the support of our third party managed services provider.

  • Configure and administer Oracle application for annual processes including benefits Open Enrollment, Performance and Goals review, and Compensation review in coordination with HR team members and based on business requirements.

  • Assist in integrating Oracle HCM cloud system into current business applications. Draft recommendations for business process designs and workflow approvals.

  • Write queries or custom reports as needed to provide ad-hoc analysis to business partners, analyze system data, or solve system issues.

  • Develop custom reports and interfaces for delivery to internal and external partners on a recurring basis.

  • Manage electronic interfaces between Oracle HCM Cloud, Payroll Services and benefit vendors.

  • Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity in coordination with Payroll Services.

  • Design and maintain employee and manager self-service configuration. Analyze and identify opportunities to improve user experience. Assist employees with self-service system questions and transactions, and troubleshoot common errors.

  • Maintain documentation for HR systems and processes, and train and support system users.

    Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent educational certification required, BA/BS degree strongly preferred.

  • 3 - 5 years HCM business analyst experience preferred. Experience with HR systems implementations strongly preferred.

  • Experience in Oracle HCM Cloud configuration including Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management and Recruiting Cloud.

  • Demonstrated experience creating new and modifying existing reports and interface files in Oracle HCM Cloud environment

  • An understanding of annual HR business cycles including benefits open enrollment, compensation and performance reviews.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively, both independently and part of a team, and ability to achieve results without close supervision.

  • Demonstrated practical, hands-on, “can-do” approach.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees.

  • Demonstrated commitment to and proficiency in a customer service culture.

  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Observes confidentiality guidelines at all times, with a high degree of professionalism, discretion and respect for sensitive situations.

  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to work beyond regular business hours.

    Physical Requirements

  • Involves work of a general office nature usually performed sitting such as operation of a computer or answering the phone.

  • Involves work of a general office nature usually performed standing such as operation of a photocopier.

  • Involves movement between departments to facilitate workflow.

  • May be required to occasionally lift 10-15 lbs.

    Internal and External Contacts

  • Regularly interfaces in both verbal and written form with all levels of professionals (800 employees in multiple locations) regarding wide range of employee matters. Many matters are confidential in nature.

  • Regularly interfaces with external consultants and vendors.

    Reporting Structure

  • This position reports to the Manager, Total Rewards & HCM who provides supervision, guidance, and evaluates and monitors work performance on a periodic basis.
