Meta People Planning Program Manager, Scaled Programs and Experiences in Boston, Massachusetts

Summary:

Scaled Programs and Experiences is always looking to make the experience of work better and more meaningful for Meta Employees. Aligning, building, and scaling programs applicable to our teams globally has become increasingly complex as we continue to grow. The People Planning Operations team is responsible for delivering people-centric programs that enable our teams to thrive via career mobility, diversity equity and inclusion, and onboarding and knowledge management programs. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with Scaled Programs and Experience teams and stakeholders to identify gaps, areas of overlap and opportunity to implement and scale people-centric career growth programs on a global scale. It is imperative that this individual fully understands the nuances of each team, can identify areas and programs to scale, and build program requirements, measurements of success, and maintenance strategies. This person will be the global POC for people-centric career growth programs, as well as the knowledge expert on career growth needs and resources offered across Meta.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage, develop, and maintain people-centric programs and cultural change initiatives.

  2. Partner with key stakeholders to identify gaps and people program opportunities, then create and advise on next steps to meet stakeholder and organizational needs.

  3. Provide clear communication of progress, roadblocks, updates, and future plans to direct lead/scaled programs and experience leadership team.

  4. Work with teams to define implementation plans that identify milestones, risks, responsibilities, success metrics, and scalability.

  5. Lead strategic projects and deep dives to analyze and solve larger scale business and organizational problems.

  6. Partner with lead to keep key stakeholders informed of progress on people related programs and highlight any areas where processes need to evolve or change.

  7. Develop measurements of success for assigned programs, create sustainable and scalable program solutions, and report and measure results.

  8. Maintain influential relationships with HRBP, Scaled Programs and Experience Leads, and program consultants.

  9. Primary People Planning liaison for Career Growth programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of work experience in program management, consulting, business operations or other equivalent practical experience

  2. 2+ years of experience managing multiple programs, experience gathering information and providing actionable solutions, simultaneously

  3. Experience partnering cross functionally, identifying key pain points, and leveraging data to make informed decisions on a global scale

  4. Experience in a staffing related capacity and adept in recruiting related processes

  5. Communication and collaboration skills, with experience navigating ambiguous situations and assessing problems from multiple perspectives

  6. Experience managing large complex projects, building program workstreams, and setting key deliverables and milestones

  7. Experience managing multiple stakeholders and varying priorities

  8. Understanding of product lifecycle and development processes

  9. Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams to set objectives and produce results

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing career growth/development programs

  2. Experience managing DEI related programs

  3. Experience auditing and synthesizing content

  4. Leadership experience, leading teams of project managers or staffing teams

  5. Background in staffing

  6. Experience using Asana or Tbls, or other program management related tracking systems
