Digital Security and Resilience (DSR)

By joining our team in Digital Security and Resilience, you’ll play a critical role in securing Microsoft. We are looking for an experienced program or product manager to partner with Microsoft’s sales and support team to build a security culture, mature security processes and skills, and ensure that services and products built by Microsoft support our sales and support teams and our customer’s sales and support teams too.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Connect cross-functional, global, and virtual project teams across a broad and varied set of security services, technology and partners, to deliver a successful program.

  • Understand customers’ business scenarios, investigate their long-term objectives and coordinate solutions for current and future needs

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor representing our customers’ requirements to inform and influence the planning and prioritization of the work being done.

  • Influence accelerated transformation through prevention, automation, and large-scale process changes.

  • Engage in both tactical and strategic activities, across all levels of personnel and with technical and less technical team members.

  • Contribute to a collaborative culture that embraces inclusivity and diversity.

  • Assist with quarterly budgeting exercises

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Program Manager and/or Product Manager

  • 3+ years in Security

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfort with ambiguity and complexity

  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel

  • In-depth experience in Azure Services and Cloud-based technologies

  • Have experience working in geographically dispersed teams.

  • Experience working directly with engineering teams; providing requirements, specs, performing testing, etc.

  • Proven ability to drive large scale projects with high collaboration and leadership

  • Excellent written and oral communications

  • Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure

  • Continually demonstrate a growth mindset, acquiring new skills whilst maintaining your development and adaptability.

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, or related field

The ideal candidate will have experience driving initiatives across broad and varied teams, technical depth in cloud platforms, customer service mindset, and a passion for continual improvement. This position requires an individual who can navigate complex and ambiguous challenges.
