Change Healthcare Principal Enterprise Architect in Boston, Massachusetts
The EA works with business stakeholders to understand the holistic business strategy and then works with architects and senior technologists to define system specific IT architectures to support the strategy. This also includes helping to define the technology roadmap for the business.
The Enterprise Architect assists with the creation and execution of the information technology architecture roadmap, working with domain architects to design roadmaps for all domains, and determining operational gaps and developing methods for improvement. Enterprise Architects may also lead solution architecture efforts which require the analysis of business and customer requirements resulting in the recommendation of solutions from among a portfolio of products and services across the organization. They may also recommend the acquisition or creation of new products or technologies in order to fulfill the requirements. They will work closely with Architects to ensure feasibility of proposed solution architectures.
• Analyze trends within IT and providing recommendations to the enterprise• Evaluate applications for compliance with both enterprise and business standards• Determine the viability of architecture related to organizational changes• Lead complex, cross-cutting, cross-functional IT projects• Educate technology personnel on best practices in areas like governance models, security by design, resilience by design and frameworks• Work with architects and technologists to ensure integrity and consistency across the business• Engage with business stakeholders on strategic roadmaps and planning• Establish and maintain relationships and a broad knowledge of the businesses, products and technologies across the organization• Lead/participate in complex or sensitive business development initiatives (e.g. M&A, vendor agreements)
