Job Description

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

We run the program management team for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security. We own the security products, operations and compliance for Oracle Cloud. We drive OCI’s customer success by ensuring all cross-organizational programs are data driven, puts the security and experience of our customer first. We’re looking for strong program managers who enjoy working across large organizations, like to drive programs end to end and are interested in Cloud security.

Responsibilities

  • Produce data driven analysis to drive quality decisions and continuous improvements

  • Communicate key focus areas, identify risks, and close gaps on expectations across partners and stakeholders.

  • Develop and manage project plans, track and mitigate risks.

  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

Must-have Skills

  • Experience coordinating and directing cross functional teams in a matrixed environment.

  • Proficiency in creating and tracking complex development schedules, tracking issues and risks across multiple teams/sub-projects.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Experience in driving large breadth programs across organization.

  • Previous experience in security or compliance related efforts.
