Microsoft Corporation Principal Software Engineering Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
The Office Growth team is looking for an accomplished Principal Engineering Manager (EM) to head the software engineering (SWE) team dedicated to delivering integrated solutions that drive success for our Microsoft 365 (M365) customers and business. This EM role requires passion for coaching and developing SWE talent; technical leadership in architecting services and user experiences at a global scale; and experience building successful partnerships across a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines across the company.

Specifically, you will:
lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of SWEs at varying levels and from a variety of backgrounds
design and deliver the technology for growing M365 adoption across Windows, Office, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem
partner closely with PM, DS, design, and peer EMs to deliver and optimize investments that improve the M365 subscription user experience in Windows and across Microsoft
partner closely with teams in Windows, Commerce, Gaming, and OneDrive to deliver software solutions in a One Microsoft fashion
continually invest in best practices for building first-class software that is customer-driven, scalable, serviceable, and of high quality, and that is delivered with operational rigor and with measurable results.
Demonstrated experience in architecting and implementing large-scale apps, experiences, or services that span multiple systems
