Position Summary:

The Process Manager will play a key role, in defining and driving an optimal end-to-end process design across the processes of Enterprise Services. The Process Manager will collaborate with various partners to ensure effective and efficient operations and identification and leverage of cross-process alignments.

Responsible for the global process landscape this role will partner with a range of internal customers including Field Operations, Service Delivery Management, Product Owners, IT, PPI, Customer Care and GBS to ensure coordination of all efforts ensuring alignment with corporate targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and coordinate the overall process landscape and approach.

  • Partner with department leads and appointed process owners across the Enterprise Services organization and GBS Shared Service Centers to drive balanced end-to-end process improvements globally that align with business strategy.

  • Assess and articulate business requirements, analyze design options and proactively seek out and assess process simplification and standardization opportunities that will eventually drive Automation within the process.

  • Keep oversight of all technology advances to ensure cross boundary aspects are identified and addressed in the interest of the overall business.

  • Drive global harmonization of processes. Address and remove interpersonal and technological boundaries in partnership with internal partners

  • Collaborate with all departments involved in delivering service for Enterprise Services to ensure resources are accurately trained on processes, policies, and systems within the ISO 9001 framework.

  • Own and handle small projects or lead subprojects and work packages in the fields of system enhancements, process improvements and general technology enabling

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience with an organization handling service delivery

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or other relevant field. Equivalent work experience also accepted with a highschool diploma required.

  • Prior experience within the customer service area is a must

  • Process Governance and/or Process Excellence experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence senior leadership, along with all levels of the organization

  • Self-directed, innovative, customer-centric change-agent who thrives in a matrixed and ever-evolving environment.

  • Highly collaborative; aligns optimally with colleagues and business partners to deliver results while improving the success of all contributors

  • Skilled communicator and validated relationship builder, able to operate within a multitude of formal and informal networks while owning the challenging interests of multidimensional partners

  • Excellent attention to detail required

  • Eye for business to develop effective partnerships with key partners and provide a strategic perspective in discussions and communications; including framing the needs of Finance and Groups in context of the larger Thermo Fisher organization
