Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Lead a team that conceptualizes, builds and optimizes our portfolio of data services..

  • Define new services and maintain service roadmaps to address market needs.

  • Maintain deep relationships with key customers to understand their business bottlenecks and how we can deliver meaningful value.

  • Work closely with Development to ensure our services deliver great experiences at industry-leading value.

  • Plan service announcements and coordinate beta testing.

  • Provide hands-on training for Customer Support and Technical Sales personnel, as well as for key customers.

  • Develop collateral such as technical and business white papers, success stories, data sheets, brochures, best practices and presentations.

  • Work with Corporate and Field Marketing to clearly communicate the value of our services.

  • Present at Oracle user group meetings, trade shows, customer sites, industry conferences, industry analyst meetings and at the Oracle Customer Visit Center.

Qualifications:

  • BS / MS in a technical field such as Computer Science, or MBA with technical industry experience.

  • 8+ years of product management experience.

  • Excellent written and communication / presentation skills.

  • Experience owning the customer and financial success of a product or product portfolio.

  • Analytical skills, with a passion to solve complex technology and business problems and an aptitude to learn new things.

  • Ability to dig into the weeds as needed while at the same time able to rise up above the weeds, always keeping in mind the bigger picture.

  • Experience dealing with a broad spectrum of IT audience – ranging from CTO/CIO to database/systems/network/storage administrators.

  • Excellent teamwork, leadership and people management skills.

  • A can-do attitude, with a focus on deliverables and deadlines.

  • Expertise in data management or database technologies is a big plus.

This job involves travel on an as-needed basis.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
