Job Description

What you will do

  • Drive data strategy & governance with a Data as a Product service mindset. Partner across Operations within a Shared Services Organization supporting Lines of Business, Risk/Compliance professionals, technology, and business line leaders to support and maintain data governance practices and processes within Operations as it relates to data, analytics and reporting.

  • Partners closely with customers (internal and external), the business line(s) and Agile teams to drive the evolution of the assigned product(s).

  • Maintains and refines product backlog; creates user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy.

  • Support operations maintain critical data information in the Data Metrics & Definitions Product and supporting quality rules/profiling of data. Review findings with the business lines.

  • Work closely in a hands-on style with development team including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback and answering questions on an ongoing basis.

  • Works with Product Management to set release dates, determine when sufficient value has been delivered to release to market, understand tradeoffs between schedule, scope and budget and communicates this information to the organization.

  • Employs product management practices and tactics including customer research, data and analytics, and market research.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong knowledge and experience in application of Tableau Platform (or other BI Tools and Success KP ) and Data concepts and support.

  • Expert technical/functional understanding of systems and platforms such as Nexidia Speech Analytics, NICE Engage, Hadoop/Hive Data Environments, AWS S3, Azure, Tableau.

  • Experience in risk documentation a nd the ability to hold teams accountable for sustaining data governance ( like source to target mapping, managing data dictionary , creating data flow maps and navigating data systems ) in the work that they do.

  • Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog

  • Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work

  • Thorough understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills

  • Standard industry certifications such as SAFe, CSPO, or PSPO are preferred

  • Experience Alteryx (Good to have)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including requirements writing

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,480.00 - $108,800.00 - $119,680.00
