Job Description

As a senior leader in the Branch Technology Strategy and Experience team you will bring a strong mix of leadership, technical acumen, strategy and vision to U.S. Bank’s Retail branch network.

What you will do

As the Product Owner , you'll be the visionary responsible for developing the roadmap for the process, technology and tools to identify repeatable key indicators at the network, server, middleware, application and presentation layer that have a day-to-day impact on customers, clients, and businesses around the nation within our 2400 retail branches. Your expertise in infrastructure technology, architecture design, application development and performance monitoring, will be essential in guiding a team that delivers multiple services to include: complex chronic Issue identification/resolution, technology certifications, Fast track User validation, and baselining services on time and within budget. You will assist in building out the team that will drive the strategic technology roadmap, identify and help resolve chronic issues and establish scope and relationships with Product Owners for certification of newly implemented high-quality technology solutions. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight or more years of related experience

Preferred skills

  • Expert in one or more of the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision), Application development, and automation techniques

  • Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices, and policies

  • Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies:

  • Client devices – tablets, VDI, PCs

  • Servers – Physical, virtual, Cloud, containers

  • Network – WiFi, LAN, WAN and protocols

  • Middleware – application servers, web servers, database servers, API gateways

  • Proven ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget

  • Support an environment that identifies opportunities to develop others through mentorship and leading by example

  • Adept at partnering closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to, stakeholders across the organization in order to influence strategic priorities

  • Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

  • Passionate about building an innovative culture

  • Experienced in modern programming languages, methodologies, and techniques

  • Ability to influence based on data

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $120,870.00 - $142,200.00 - $156,420.00
