Job Description:

The Product Risk Management Oversight Business Support Manager is responsible for oversight and adherence of the Product Risk Management – Enterprise Policy across all Front Line Units (FLUs) / Control Functions (CFs) and addition to managing key enterprise product related initiatives. This individual demonstrates and applies business acumen including strong knowledge of products to promote a culture of risk management and the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of risks. Drives adherence to enterprise-wide standards while acting as an ambassador of the risk culture including day to day interaction with Regulatory Relations, Corporate Audit, Compliance and Risk partners. This role exercises judgment and influence, and may constructively challenge FLU and CF leaders to support our strong risk management culture.

This role requires an individual who is highly skilled at utilizing project management tools, approaches and manages by fact approach to ensure the FLU / CF leaders and Product Owners take full responsibility for the delivery of the content required of the Product Risk Management Policy. Must have the ability to drive collaborative meetings with line of business, risk, audit and technology partners to solve problems and mitigate risks. Must have business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. Typically 5+ plus years of program management experience.

Product Risk Management Oversight Business Support Manager Role Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary lead to support adherence and oversight to the Product Risk Management – Enterprise Policy. Support includes, but is not limited, to the following:

  • Communication and distribution of monthly and quarterly product risk management reporting capabilities

  • Lead regular routine meeting with FLU / CF leads on policy adherence and program execution

  • Engage Product Heads, as needed, across the enterprise to ensure product risk management procedures are supporting BAU routines and adding value

  • Update enterprise policy and supporting guidelines as applicable

  • Act as a central point of contact across the enterprise on product risk management activities

  • Create executive level presentations for all product risk management meeting routines

  • Maintain SharePoint and PRM DG Communications

  • Manage PRM change control process for future enhancements

  • Act as a central point of contact for all audit and regulatory requests related to product risk management inquires

  • Assembling and/or reviewing evidence responses for exam inquiries

  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency in responses

  • Managing review and approvals from line of business (LOBs), Legal, and Risk partners

  • Ensuring questions are fully accounted for and response are appropriate and approved within expected time frame.

  • Act as the primary lead to support key product related initiatives that impact consumer and/or enterprise. Support includes, but is not limited, to the following:

  • Cross FLU product analysis

  • Addressing Regulatory / Audit feedback

  • Key Program / Policy enhancements

  • Drive and execute technology and/or Operational Excellence enhancements that make product owners more effective and efficient

Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified.

  • Excellent influencer and communicator and able to build and manage relationships with business partners across various teams

  • Strong attention to detail with leadership, problem solving and organizational skills

  • 7-10 plus years of enterprise product/project/program management experience

  • 2-5+ years experience with internal and external exams, audits, and regulator or internally identified issues management – Desired

  • Demonstrates Business Acumen - Strong knowledge of the business including products and how the business operates

  • Drives Operational Excellence - Demonstrates a bias for action and a commitment to achieving sustainable results

  • Influencing Skills - Ability to influence LOB's to facilitate accurate and complete representations of the process and control environment

  • Organizational Skills - Excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills to address variety of ad-hoc requests and issues as they arise. Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce accurate and complete analysis

  • Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of leadership both verbally and in writing

  • Risk Management Skills - Strong risk mindset with process and controls background; ability to actively debate and escalate issues and concerns

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

$102,000 - $160,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
