SMX is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee all aspects of multiple complex Cloud task orders including finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and reporting. The PgM has overall responsibility for all financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the contract. The PgM is also the key interface with government leadership and stakeholders. This position is 100% remote.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares long and short-range plans for complex Cloud services task orders and for necessary

• Manages, directs, and allocates resources to support task orders; supported by contractor corporate executives to make sure that top quality services are provided

• Manage all project activities to include scope, cost and schedule in accordance with contract

• Tracks, reports on and mitigates project related risks and issues

• Manages task orders to ensure profitability and resource utilization attainment

• Works with Invoicing team to ensure accurate invoicing for professional services, managed services, Cloud resources and other direct costs (ODCs)

• Manages resources and identifies resource risks or blockers

• Communicates project status to clients, management, and partners as appropriate

• Cultivates effective working relationships with SMX and partner teams to maximize productivity and customer service delivery

• Anticipates problems or situations that could affect project success. Assesses potential impact, develops and executes the best solution to mitigate. Escalates to leadership as appropriate

• Ensures status report delivery, development of project-related documentation, and implementation of lessons learned

• Participates in project performance review meetings and discussions

Required Skills:

• PMP or PgMP certification

• ITIL certification

• Demonstrated experience managing cloud solution deployments.

• Demonstrated experience managing public cloud (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) projects and programs

• The ability to obtain and maintain a federal clearance

Required Experience:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Admin Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

• 10+ Years of IT Experience, 5 of which are in building, operating, and improving environments specifically with experience related to enterprise cloud modernization of technically complex applications within the last 3 years.
