Oracle Program Manager 5-ProdDev in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead an initiative within Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Change Management division. In this critical role, you will drive the adoption of change best practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies, transitioning the organization from an ITIL change model to a DevOps operating model. You will also focus on identifying missing or broken mechanisms in Oracle's Change Management systems and processes and drive improvements across OCI. Additionally, you will lead efforts in driving a durable reporting structure to attain desired outcomes in improving change safety and speed.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic transformation from an ITIL change model to a DevOps operating model, emphasizing continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.

  • Define and implement change best practices, with a specific focus on identifying and addressing gaps or inefficiencies in advanced change management mechanisms and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and tools, ensuring they align with OCI’s cloud strategy, compliance requirements, and advanced change management principles.

  • Establish and communicate clear guidelines and standards for change management, emphasizing continuous improvement and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

  • Drive the development of reporting mechanisms and scorecards to measure and optimize change safety and speed, enabling data-driven decision-making.

  • Influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to implement improvements based on insights derived from reporting and scorecards.

  • Utilize your program management skills to coordinate complex initiatives, ensuring milestones are met, and objectives are achieved within established timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Program Manager, with a proven track record of leading organizational change towards DevOps methodologies.

  • In-depth knowledge of change best practices, particularly in identifying and rectifying missing or broken mechanisms in advanced change management.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and implement change initiatives at scale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in developing reporting mechanisms and scorecards to measure and optimize change safety and speed.

  • Understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to evolve policies and tools to facilitate fast and secure changes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
