The Ford Credit Technology & Software organization creates digital software products for dealers and customers to support Ford Credit's strategic goal to be the reason customers choose and stay with Ford.
Program Manager for Ford Pro Insure will contribute to the development of new digital products for Ford Credit Commercial customers.
Program Manager for Ford Pro Insure will
Direct efforts between projects leading the overall program with strong attention to business objectives, implementation, and delegation
Help project to stay on schedule, on spec and ultimately on an upward trajectory of success and growth.
Support delivery of industry-leading products and services to maximize value and productivity for Commercial customers
Work closely with other stakeholders & teams across Ford Credit
This position reports to Director of Ford Pro Insure.

Formulates, organizes and monitors inter-connected projects
Decides on suitable strategies and objectives
Directs cross-project activities
Assesses program performance and aims to maximize ROI for all internal and external stakeholders
Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks
Produces and presents program reports for management and stakeholders
Implements and manages changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved
Develops and controls deadlines, budgets and activities
Anticipates, mitigates, and resolves issues that could derail projects
Manages hours tracking, including utilization, erosion, and reporting of hours
Identifies key requirements and execution support needed from cross-functional teams
Maintains a repository of the templates, best practices, performance to budget (time and dollars) and lessons learned from previous projects to ensure success is replicated and failure is avoided.
Depending on size and complexity of project and/or account, may also be assigned to perform other duties of the project
Functional & Technical Skills
Awareness of front end and backend software technologies
Understanding of cloud and digital platforms
Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies
Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and product owners
Strong communication, collaborative, and influencing skills
Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience
Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment
Required Work Experience:
10+ years of previous technical project manager experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience in people management
Previous system replacement and/or integration project management experience required
Previous experience working with business and technical executives to outline and executive against strategic roadmaps required
Previous stakeholder and vendor management experience in a project environment preferred
Previous experience holding software implementation teams accountable for meeting deadlines and goals
Previous experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Previous experience managing project financials and resource allocation
Experience with contract adherence and negotiating skills
Experience identifying and driving change management
Superior communication and presentation skills required
Insurance industry experience a plus
