Facebook Program Manager, Strategy & Operations in Boston, Massachusetts

Facebook is looking for a Program Manager to join our Strategy & Transformation team that drives Recruiting transformation solutions from strategy to execution at the intersection of people, process & technology. We build and scale global programs to strengthen the impact of our world-class Recruiting Team. Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook's success. We have a world-class team working together to help drive our ambitions and scale to the next level. This role is pivotal to delivering our vision of transforming the way we hire great builders for Facebook's future. In this role, you will be responsible for strategy, planning, execution and reporting of global transformational programs. You will play a key role in shaping and executing programmatic strategies for Recruiting alongside key partners and stakeholders. Plugging into the Recruiting organization’s multi-year vision, you will scale and deliver existing programs, while also identifying and standing up new programs. The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with executives and colleagues alike and consistently deliver high-quality work even under time constraints with competing priorities.

Required Skills:

  1. Oversee and drive strategic programs that have a direct measurable impact on Recruiting, through technical process, product and operational solutions.

  2. Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within Recruiting, Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Ops/PMO to ensure that programs are effectively prioritized, resourced and executed to meet long term objectives as well as near term deliverables.

  3. Define and manage the portfolio hierarchy in partnership with other portfolio leads while connecting the dots between the other portfolios and programs.

  4. Build program framework, sequencing & overall execution plan that the program working team adheres to.

  5. Define a high standard of quality/rigor in execution and drive, track and document progress with the program working team.

  6. Partner with the Change Management team to establish a change and communications strategy for large scale, transformative programs.

  7. Manage program reporting and facilitate the flow of information between all the stakeholders and cross-functional partners involved.

  8. Build strategic relationships with global & cross-functional partners to drive improvements to the program strategy.

  9. Leverage, outline & analyze metrics to manage program health, mitigate risks, demonstrate impact & enable continuous improvement.

  10. Proactively identify the important problems in support of company goals and create programs/solutions to address them.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree or higher

  2. 8+ years experience in Program Management and/or Consulting

  3. 3+ years experience in a high-tech fast-paced environment

  4. Experience establishing programs, leading them end-to-end while scaling for growth in highly matrixed organizations

  5. Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive results

  6. Experience thinking analytically and strategically about issues and influencing stakeholders, leadership and individual contributors at all levels

  7. Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results in a highly organized manner

  8. Experience building and maintaining strategic relationships in order to influence and drive the program vision in a single direction

  9. Experience creating and delivering presentations to a variety of stakeholders including senior-level leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. PMP or Six Sigma certification

  2. Experience working in a large, global tech company or other fast-paced environments

  3. Experience in program management within Recruiting or People Operations
