At Omnicell, we’re hiring a Program Manager to lead large complex customer engagements. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Professional Services PMO the Program Manager will manage and deliver Omnicell products and services that enable our customers to realize their business objectives. These professional services engagements focus on the full portfolio of Omnicell customer solutions to help our customers to safely and securely deliver the right dose, to the right patient, at the right time, anywhere across the continuum of care. This job function entails managing and running complex enterprise healthcare technology projects, ensuring timely closeout of requirements and projects, providing timely status updates to the clients, and working closely with various technical and non-technical team members.
Challenge, innovate, lead and drive health system-level projects from start to close
Develop strategies to realize improvement opportunities, and ensure organizational prioritization and resource alignment
Manage multiple projects through the full product lifecycle, from beta, to pilot programs, and national rollouts, in the creation of guidelines, key metrics, tracking and analysis of KPIs and supporting best practices.
Lead program definition, planning / scoping the work, establishing governance and stakeholders, organizing work meaningfully, working across teams to implement the solutions, managing change, communicating, and monitoring for ultimate impact/effectiveness.
Work as a liaison between client and cross-functional internal teams - specifically with project management, product, technology, and solution support teams - to deliver positive customer experiences, managing the success of the experience.
Collaborate with Omnicell field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to seek to understand our customer’s needs, their business, how success is defined, and ensure that we are exceeding expectations in delivery.
Lead, manage, and coordinate high stake discussions involving customer and Omnicell Executives, reviewing Omnicell’s ability to execute on customer vision and KPIs.
Lead individuals, teams or multiple groups and play an active role in analyzing project goals, creating a plan to achieve those goals, and then driving the Omnicell team members, customer stakeholders/SMEs and potentially other third parties to achieve those goals while understanding the client environment and any limitations to execution.
Plays an active role in managing project goals and driving teams to achieve customers business outcomes by managing issues, risks, decisions, and action items.
Plans and oversees the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
Apply strategic thinking and demonstrate understanding of requirements to execute, use data analytic tools and customer objectives to ensure proper understanding and execution of customer projects
Make solid decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan with limited guidance.
Understand and use technology principles and services including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms and consumer facing technology.
Manage a matrix program team, including the ability to influence, negotiate and achieve results through others who are not direct reports.
Apply knowledge and experience of project management best practices in an effective yet pragmatic way across large, complex projects.
Effectively integrate, motivate and build relationships with cross-functional team members (local or remote), sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with or affected by the project.
Interface with various customer and internal Omnicell stakeholders which consists of senior leadership teams (C-level execs, SVP/VP, Directors) and project level resources such as SMEs.
High level understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, security, interfaces, and other healthcare information systems as applicable.

5 or more years’ experience leading the delivery of enterprise-level programs
6 or more years work experience, Bachelor's Degree required
Healthcare work experience preferred, specifically within a health system, high growth start-ups and/or consulting experience
Demonstrated complex program management skills and a successful track record of leading or managing multiple projects simultaneously. Includes measuring program results and creating dashboards / scorecards minimally on a regular basis.
This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed. (Approximately 25-40%)
Home office environment when not traveling-- 100% REMOTE
Long periods of time in front of a computer utilizing video technology
Work across multiple time zones
Compensation will vary based on region. For the state of Colorado only, expected pay is $97,000 to $125,000. Benefits can be found on www.omnicellbenefits.com
