TheProgram Support Consultant, Meeting Management & Event Strategy(MMES) manages all aspects of complex departmental programs pertaining to collateral materials, branded gift items, awards, copy direction and event app functionality and content. Provide program support for all Meeting Management &Event Strategy program design aspects as outlined by Lead Planner/Manager. Functional responsibilities include managing projects from approved program design to shipping and delivery, coordinating workflow with internal teams, external vendors, planning team and tracking assignments to meet schedule deadlines. Planning and enforcing process and the continuous altering of priorities are integral elements of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project direction for MMES programs with creative services, copywriter support and internal/external vendors to assure direction and

delivery are clear and timelines are executed.

  • Implement and execute overall program support in all aspects outlined in the program design outline by Lead Planner and business partner.

  • Manages, monitors and maintains overall project scope and communicates status of scope to all team members involved in the program.

  • Provide accurate, timely and comprehensive written and oral communication for MMES team, cross-functional teams and all business partners

  • Understanding of varied brand applications. Brand expertise, knowledge of use of LMI logo and Olympic markings and colors to assure accurate

use and protect the integrity of the brand. Understanding of varied brand applications.

  • Manage the copy direction to ensure the writer is briefed of program design throughout all communication means and its different stages from

attendee view.

  • Manage and execute special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, as well as 5 - 7 years’ experience in a related field.

  • Strong project management skills in a high pressure corporate environment are required.

  • The ideal candidate is process and detailed oriented to ensure all relevant control processes are adhered to.

  • Knowledge of creative/design and print production is preferred, as is the ability to manage multiple functions for different projects.

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.

  • Positive attitude, strong ethics and overall team player.
