This Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the day to day activities of the project, including the recruitment of project staff, setting up records systems, and organizing meetings and conferences.

  • Gathering all project information: schedules, data requests, assignment task, and project meetings.

  • Working with the project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, task and project assignments.

  • Working with the Program Manager, assisting in developing a comprehensive workflow process for project.

  • Monitoring and modifying project schedule as assigned.

  • Maintaining document control, including creation and management of IRB related documents, database management, tracking project activities and team communication.

  • Acting as liaison with the relevant work groups and clinical areas, both internal and external. Developing linkages between these areas. Acting as liaison with other department and regulatory agencies and consultants on analyses of financial, clinical or administrative data.

  • Overseeing and facilitating the production of training materials, and other appropriate products generated by the project.

To qualify, you must have:

  • The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a health related field and at least one to two year’s experience in an administrative support role and/or projects-related role. Master’s degree preferred.

  • The ability to effectively coordinate the activities of employees within assigned unit/department.

  • The ability to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair and workable solutions.

  • Technically competent with various software programs such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. Familiarity with project management software a plus.

  • Familiarity with human subjects research preferred.

The Adolescent Substance Use and Addiction Program at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Project Coordinator for a new clinical research study. Under direct supervision of the PI and the Program Manager, provides advanced administrative support to implement the goals of various projects, develops plans and systems and coordinates the day to day activities in order to ensure project deliverables and deadlines are achieved.
