SMX is seeking a Project Manager to join our team! A successful candidate must be comfortable interacting directly with technical resources and customers at both the technical and executive-level. The individual will be capable of working independently in the role when needed, able to act with a sense of urgency, and willing to contribute as an active member of the Smartronix Cloud community. A strong focus on quality, communication, customer success, and results, the individual will be working alongside some of the best Cloud technologists in the market, jointly driving to successful project execution. Job Responsibilities: + Oversees all aspects of multiple complex Cloud projects including finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and reporting + Prepares long and short-range plans for complex Cloud services projects and for necessary support resources + Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with customer + Manage all project activities to include scope, cost and schedule in accordance with contract + Manages all project meetings + Tracks, reports on and mitigates project related risks and issues + Manages projects to ensure profitability and resource utilization attainment + Works with Invoicing Team to ensure accurate invoicing for professional services, managed services, Cloud resources and other direct costs (ODCs) + Manages resource plan and identify resource risks or blockers + Provide personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effectiveness. + Captures meeting minutes and actions items. Distributes action items as required and manages to completion + Communicates project status to clients, management, and partners as appropriate + Cultivates effective working relationships with client, Smartronix, and partner teams to maximize productivity and customer service delivery + Anticipates problems or situations that could affect project success. Assesses potential impact, develops and executes the best solution to mitigate. Escalates to leadership as appropriate + Models integrity and initiative + Ensure status report delivery, development of project-related documentation, and implementation of lessons learned + Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions Required Skills and Experience: + Clearance required: None + Bachelor's degree and seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience is required + Demonstrated project financial management experience + Demonstrated managerial experience leading employees supporting IT projects while motivating diverse teams + Demonstrated experience managing Cloud migration projects + Prior experience working directly with external clients. Ability to clearly, confidently and effectively communicate with client team members; whether technical or executive + Highly motivated, resilient with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and capable of working effectively under pressure to immovable deadlines + Natural desire to provide excellent customer support and the ability to assist customers in creating requirements and/or understand the requirements provided + Well organized with the ability to react quickly to a changing landscape; sound attention to detail; and excellent organizational skills + Excellent MS Office skills + Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills and Experiences + PMP certification + AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or other Cloud Service Provider foundational certifications Vaccination is a requirement of the position per Executive Order 14042.
