Oracle Project Manager - OPERA Cloud Integrations in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client's satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.

Creates and manages an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitors and reports progress/changes against the plan. Drives implementation by providing motivation and direction.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. A BS or BA in related fields. 5-7 year overall experience in functional or technical role. Two years experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution.

The HGBU Consulting team is currently seeking industry top talent to help support our customers’ business transformations from an on-premises solutions to a globally distributed, fully managed cloud solution. We are seeking individuals with high energy and a passion to learn new technologies while delivering excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with customers to understand and support the implementation of their integration requirements into OPERA Cloud and other HGBU solutions via custom integrations and API development

  • Provide technical leadership to the Customer, Consulting, Solutions Engineering and Account Teams throughout the process

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with Customers, Product Strategy, Solutions Engineering and Consulting teams

  • Anticipate and proactively remediate issues internally and with customers

  • Excel at planning, execution and communication

  • Create and contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, high quality and customer service

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or computer related field 7+ years related experience in a best-in-class project management organization

  • Successfully project managed multiple software development and managed application deployments for large, complex customer

  • Must have a broad, strong technical knowledge which encompasses software development, hosting and application management

  • Ability to create and deliver customer-facing status reports, dashboards, etc.

  • Must possess strong results orientation and a demonstrated ability to deliver against his/her strategy within challenging time frames

  • Must be an exceptional communicator and comfortable in presenting both in public and online to business and technical executives

  • Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through other internal and external organizations and individuals (a track record of delivering results within a matrix business environment

  • Strong leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills required

  • Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude

  • Sets high standards with respect to the treatment of customers and peers
