Fiserv PS Support Services Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts

Position Description

What does a great Principal Loan Consultant do?

The Principal Loan Consultant will provide analysis, consultation and recommendations to credit union and bank clients during deployment of DNA Core Financial Software, in order to ensure clients’ business needs are met. In addition, this position will support post live clients with both strategic consulting and implementations of post live items/modules.

As a Loan Consultant, you can look forward to:

  • Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and implementations of their suite of products and provide the best-in-class solutions to the clients’ needs.

  • Support sales and consulting team

  • Change champion

  • Provide outstanding, industry recognized, recommendations for process improvement

  • Configure and Implement DNA Core Processing Functionality

  • Document client and internal discussions and decisions

  • Execute specific duties and groups of work as assigned

  • Manage/resolve a fixed percentage of Service cases, prepare and escalate others to higher levels within the team

  • Test new features and functionality of the DNA product suite

  • Engage with clients and evaluate Readiness for conversion

  • Conduct UAT sessions with converting clients

  • Ensure client satisfaction

  • Back Up Principal and Implementation Consultants

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 4+ years DNA Core system experience

  • 8+ Years in subject area of expertise within the financial industry

  • Experience in consulting and analytical thinking

  • Experience working in an environment to execute on deliverables on time

  • Experience with MS office tools

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Client facing and presentation experience with all levels of clients up to C-Level

  • The ability to travel on average of 50-90%, this may include weekend and holidays

  • Flexibility to work after hours/ on-call as needed

  • Subject Matter Expertise in at least three of the following:

  • Lending

  • Finance and Accounting

  • Back Office Processing

  • Deposit Operations

  • Retail Deposit

  • Core system Administration

  • Back Office Processing

  • System Operations

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Experience in Strategic Consulting

  • Financial institution experience or relevant experience
