Meta Quality Systems Project Manager, Global Operations in Boston, Massachusetts

Global Operations' focus is on improving the health of our products and helping people understand how to use them through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions. We need influencers who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for our platforms. Scaled Operations (within Global Operations) manages the human expertise required for the integrity and experience of our community and business. If you like helping people, Global Operations is for you.The Quality Systems Project Manager will be responsible for leading complex, highly cross-functional projects to completion. This individual provides operational thought leadership and project management to the design and implementation of quality measurement systems and tools. These systems are used to evaluate Facebook's effectiveness of our review work.In this role, you will work closely with individuals and leaders in global operations, product, engineering, design, research, data engineering, data science, policy, and Outsourcing teams. The measurement systems/tools you create and optimize with these cross-functional partners will influence priorities and define success for internal stakeholders, outsourcing partners, and Facebook as a company.

Required Skills:

  1. Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Facebook's community support processes, products, and policies

  2. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new quality program initiatives that enable Facebook to improve the integrity and effectiveness of its quality systems

  3. Analyze existing quality processes and tools to provide recommendations for improvements, and partner with engineering teams to implement change

  4. Research new and innovative methods to measure and improve quality

  5. Manage complex, cross-functional projects and deliver high-quality solutions

  6. Travel overnight internationally when needed (<25%)

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance

  2. 3+ years of experience doing business process analysis

  3. 3+ years working in an Operations, Analytics, Product, or equivalent team

  4. Demonstrated track record in successfully managing ambiguous, ambitious, strategic, and operationally complex projects with cross-functional teams

  5. Experience using data to influence business decisions

  6. Content creation and presentation skills including experience building and delivering executive leadership content

  7. Experience leveraging knowledge and skills across multiple projects and stakeholders to drive change, influence teams and deliver initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years working with technical teams on driving solutions/projects

  2. 1+ years of experience working with SQL

  3. Self-starting, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in ambiguity

  4. Experience communicating with a variety of audiences

  5. Open, collaborative, and proven team player
