Vista Higher Learning RFP Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

WHO ARE YOU? You are extremely detail oriented, enjoy project management, are deadline driven and have an understanding of how the Request For Proposal (RFP) process works in the education industry. WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT? As our RFP Manager, you will play a key role in the oversight, management, and execution of all pre and post bid activities. You will be looked at as a process leader, driver and partner to different stakeholders in the collective effort to ensure the RFP responses are thorough, accurate and submitted in a timely fashion. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Manage the full-cycle RFP process through cross-functional collaboration to ensure proactive and timely information sharing and alignment across functions and stakeholders Drive efforts to implement an RFP system and content database that will foster and improve collaboration, operationalize existing workflows and elevate functionality and rigor Develop narratives, drive the refinement and standardization of processes, workflows, resources, templates and documents to improve efficiency and accuracy Own the review and delivery process of RFPs by performing rigorous quality assurance checks on draft and final documents for submission, ensuring high-quality content and appearance of proposal deliverables Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across a variety of levels and departments Manage a small team of employees and/or vendors or freelancers YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE) Bachelor?s degree minimum 3+ years of experience as an RFP Manager or leading/driving complex RFP?s in matrixed/cross functional environments required Experience with RFPs specifically in the educational industry/market (K12 or Higher Education or similar) required 1+ years of prior people-management experience required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required Experience using RFP, project management or similar software/systems required Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills required Strong professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required IDEAL IF YOU HAVE or ARE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE) PMP or CSM certification Experience with Project Management software such as Smartsheet Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, Sharepoint, JIRA, Salesforce Familiarity with VHL products LOCATION Remote/Hybrid (Boston, MA) Our ideal candidate will reside within reasonable distance to our Boston, MA office headquarters and will work a Hybrid work schedule.
