How you will make an impact:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced data/digital analyst to build our digital reporting from the ground up including building segments, reporting, and dashboards. We are looking for someone to question data to ensure the reporting is done right. This analyst knows reports and data nuances are important, but it's the deep analysis and curation of the full story you find exciting. You're proficient in business and marketing analytics standard methodologies and strategies, allowing you to turn a sophisticated analysis into a digestible and impactful story. Astute at simplifying the data is a vital skill for this position. You're comfortable diving into the data, questioning results, solving problems, improving, curating and being creative with data. You're an analyst and a storyteller at heart, and you will work on various projects and connect with different stakeholders to gain valuable business context. Your data sets will be diverse - at times complex and unstructured - but your outstanding viewpoints, experience, and teammates will keep you grounded and help you navigate. The data will range in systems from numerous sources (including, but not limited to, digital, offline, sales, revenue, data science, BI, CRM).

Curiosity, critical-thinking, and persistence are key in this role. Self-assessment and a continual growth mentality are mandatory, as the analytics field constantly changes (i.e. search engine algorithms, social media, new tools and methods, etc.). You also enjoy sharing your knowledge via brainstorming, mentorship or documentation of standard methodologies from analytics perspectives. You strive for efficient, quality work and continual improvements; but you also know that perfection is the enemy of good and are comfortable supplying insights and recommendations with 80% complete/directional data.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and turn investigations and deeper analyses of key and relevant business questions into compelling stories

  • Build, validate, and refine methodologies to determine return on investment of various marketing efforts

  • Seek to understand, problem solve, troubleshoot, and identify data gaps to better address business questions

  • Collaborate and cultivate relationships between analytics and partners (marketers, executives, cross-divisional)

  • Assess and improve efficiencies to permit time for proactive support and insights

  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reporting to help business partners assess campaigns health and performance

  • Enable business partners through documentation of techniques, standard methodologies, conducting training sessions, etc.

  • Enable teammates through knowledge-sharing and collaboration

  • Work on continual self-education to improve techniques and advance our team's analytics strategy

How will you get here:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

  • 5+ years of analytics experience required: web, digital media, BI, CRM, etc.

  • Advanced MS Excel & PPT

  • Adobe Analytics (preferred, but similar accepted)

  • PowerBI (or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Superb communication skills and experience crafting analyses and storytelling for business partners

  • Strong graphics and visualization aesthetics to convey message simply and impact fully

  • Marketing and Business experience (Knowledge of marketing strategies/analytics)

  • Familiarity with data capture, retrieval, cleansing, solving problems

  • Skilled at data wrangling and working with nuanced/unstructured data

  • Statistics and data science familiarity/interest

  • Experience working in a large corporation within a matrix organizational structure
