Ready to act Right Now, for Tomorrow? * *Job Description * The Sr. Enterprise Architect participates in and helps drive, alongside other enterprise architects and the head of architecture, the planning, definition, and management of Impact’s Architecture Roadmap and Strategy. They interact regularly with business owners and stakeholders to understand and shape the vision, goals, and strategy of the company and ensure alignment of the digital portfolio against them. Additionally, they are responsible for understanding the current constraints of and to our systems and creating a roadmap to prepare us for the future. *Function * * Defines the high-level digital architecture for Impact ensuring the foundational capabilities align directly to our business strategy and goals * Produces an Architectural Roadmap working with the architecture team, CXO’s, and the heads of product and operations * Understands, aggregates, and as needed documents each business line’s short- and long-term vision, objectives, strategy, and key outcomes working directly with business owners and executive management * Influences people and organizations, including executive management, when issues are complex/difficult and require considerable diplomacy * Works with the rest of the Enterprise Architecture team to document the digital portfolio appropriately to support the creation of roadmaps, risk profiles, and innovation opportunities * Connects the organizations digital capabilities with business needs by producing capability maps, landscapes, etc * Leads efforts across architecture and engineering to produce POC’s and incubate projects * Ensures the continued maturity and innovation of the digital offerings by monitoring industry and technology trends and best practices * Selects vendors, technologies, and tools working with other architects by performing options analysis ensuring all meet the standards produced by the Enterprise Architecture team * Provides leadership and insight to the engineering teams conveying customer/business needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps * Interacts with peers withing our sister and parent companies looking for opportunities for collaboration, reuse of technologies, and framework elements that will help drive the ENGIE family forward * Works alongside peers within Enterprise Architecture to define key processes, deliverables, and metrics for the team * Contributes to the maturity plan for Impact’s architectural governance model ensuring a pragmatic approach balancing the disparate needs of all groups participating in the process * Ensures the communication and buy in from stakeholders of the architectural governance model. * Do you tick all the boxes? Join a rewarding and flexible work environment that encourages innovation and creativity and help us meet the energy challenges of today and tomorrow. * * 10 years of experience as an architect in an enterprise capacity * Demonstrated successful implementation of complex migration strategies for legacy systems and/or cloud migrations * Strong knowledge of AWS or any other Cloud infrastructure * 5-10 years of experience working in a digitally enabled services organization where technology partners with and supports the business * Experience in the utility expense management, energy, or sustainability service industries is a plus * Experience designing evolutionary architecture alongside an agile engineering organization * Experience in a Big Data and Databases is a plus * Must possess the skills of a technical specialist as well as those of a technical leader * Excellent communication skill, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.) * Understanding of agile principles and how to integrate architecture and agile engineering processes together * Must be able to act as a leader for the digital organization * Understanding of requirements analysis * Clear understanding of deploying enterprise applications * Very good learning skill & agility on work delivery. * Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver * Negotiates and explains technical solutions to non-technical staff * Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment under tight schedules Equal Employment Opportunity All employment decisions shall be made without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or any other basis as protected by federal, state, or local law.
