Responsibilities: We are in search for a Senior IT Project Manager with direct experience managing clients and in contract management. The ideal candidate has their PMP certification and proven experience in State Government Medicaid Consulting, Healthcare, or Human Services

  • Manages customer relationship through service delivery and contractual compliance

  • Manages adherence and performance to the customer contract

  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks

  • Administers resource management scheduling system

  • Updates portfolio-level project status summaries weekly for IT and business managers and external customers

  • Utilizes reporting tools to analyze actual and planned resource metrics and provide visibility of resource utilization and availability to IT and business management.

  • Communicates project issues, including timing, budget, resources, scope and more, to IT and business management, project sponsor, and external customers.

  • Provides leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle

  • Adheres to Project Management Institute project management practices and methodologies

  • Directs teams of technical, professional and management staff in the successful fulfillment of IT service delivery commitments

  • Provides leadership in planning and managing systems operations in support of customer's business

  • Establishes systems performance objectives and ensure service level objectives are met

  • Manages IT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands

  • Works with IT peers, PMO and business leaders to develop and implement corporate IT vision and strategy to support business objectives. Manages strategic relationships with key IT product and service vendors

  • Directs risk evaluation and remediation activities across all IT operations

  • Performs all duties in accordance with safety, security and compliance rules, regulations, and best practices

  • Manages and oversights of after-hours maintenance and operational support

  • Manages and monitors all Environments

  • Manages the release of customer facing changes in coordination with the customer

  • Develops and drives automations, continuous improvement in IT product development

  • Promotes Innovations and identify areas for improvements provisioning/supporting IT infrastructure services, including recommendations for customer business optimization or improvement

  • Develops, enhances, and documents IT service provisioning/support processes

  • Oversees proof of concept engagements and evaluate next generation architectures and solutions

  • Stays current of emerging technologies and trends in best practices to make informed recommendations for new tools, technologies, and services

  • Improves productivity by Understand the customer needs and develop infrastructure products/services

  • Interface with vendors for product information, maintenance, billing, contract issues, and the timely resolution of escalated problems. Align and respond to the business objects/requirements

  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships be interacting proactively and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Leverages people, process, and technology improvements to optimize customer experience.

  • Prioritizes projects and daily work of the teams to align with the goals of the customer and firm

  • Performs metric analysis to understand areas of process improvements and/or automation opportunities

  • Manages from inception to successful implementation medium-sized customer facing systems/applications

    Qualifications Education/Experience:

  • PMP certification (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

  • 10+ years of experience in State Government Medicaid Consulting, Healthcare, or Human Services

  • Experience with eligibility verification systems for government assistance programs (Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, etc.)

  • Able to work with a diverse range of people

    Required Skills:

  • Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives

  • Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies

  • Strong project management skills, which includes experience in organizing, planning, and executing small- to medium-scale projects involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors from vision through implementation

  • Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees to effectively and professionally

  • Strong follow-up skills: ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
